1. Acceptance
By accessing the website or submitting an assessment, you acknowledge these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Legal Notice. Submitting an assessment does not by itself create an advisor–client, lawyer–client or contractual relationship. A paid engagement begins only after a separate written proposal or engagement agreement is accepted.

Lineage Advisory is an independent private advisory and coordination practice. It is not a governmental authority, law firm or nonprofit organisation. Services may include preliminary screening, historical and documentary research coordination, case organisation and coordination with independent specialists.
3. Scope and engagement
The precise scope, fees, deadlines and deliverables are established only in a separate written engagement. Website information and automated results are preliminary and may change after documentary or professional review.
4. Client responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete and non-misleading information.
- Promptly communicate corrections and relevant changes.
- Share third-party information lawfully and only where necessary.
- Review applications and legal documents before signature or official submission.
- Comply with agreed deadlines, authority requests and payment obligations.
5. Fees and third-party costs
Fees, payment terms and cancellation conditions are quoted separately. Unless expressly included, charges from authorities, archives, lawyers, translators, notaries, apostille providers and other third parties are additional.
6. No guarantee
Lineage Advisory cannot guarantee eligibility, an authority decision, processing times or availability of historical records. Citizenship decisions remain exclusively with the competent authorities.
7. Independent providers
Lawyers, translators, archives and other specialists remain independent and responsible for their own advice, services, fees and professional obligations.
8. Intellectual property
The brand, website, texts, design, questionnaires, methodologies and original materials are owned by or licensed to Lineage Advisory. They may not be copied, republished, sold or commercially exploited without prior written permission. Client-provided documents remain the property of their respective owners.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lineage Advisory is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, authority decisions, incomplete third-party records, or delays outside its reasonable control. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Governing law
These website Terms are governed by Swiss law. Subject to mandatory consumer and jurisdiction rules, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in the Canton of Zug, Switzerland.
11. Updates
These Terms may be updated to reflect changes in services or legal requirements. The published version applies from its stated update date.
